Bulletin SLOCOLD
Each year, the SLOCOLD issues a bulletin of articles from the annual consultations. At the organization of the professional consultations,
either an individual technical area of the operation within the dam engineering is depicted or a thematic conference on-site (at the host of
the meeting) is set up.
Journal SLOCOLD »Velike Pregrade«
The internal journal »Velike Pregrade« (Large dams) is created by the members of the SLOCOLD with articles on current issues/problems of dam
engineering in Slovenia. In addition, “Velike pregrade” is also a source of information sent to the head office of SLOCOLD by ICOLD and
other similar organizations. The SLOCOLD journal »Velike pregrade« is published twice a year. In the first issue, the SLOCOLD general meeting
report and the report on consultations and accompanying professional excursions are normally presented. In the second issue, the report on the
ICOLD annual meeting and professional excursion is published. The editorial board strives to publish also professional/technical content in each
issue, through which our members present the professional work in their field of expertise.
International
The members of SLOCOLD are regularly present in the international arena with original articles, which are published at the ICOLD
international symposiums and congresses. A review commission within the society is responsible for the review of the articles, which
are then suggested by SLOCOLD to ICOLD for publishing. So far, the SLOCOLD members have published over 20 articles.
(Conference) proceedings, internal newsletter “Velike pregrade” and published articles are available in the electronic form in the virtual library.
